For over 30 years I have been gathering information on the
Partin family. My ancestors settled in East Tennessee around
1795 and moved into the Cumberland Gap area of S.E. Kentucky
in the early 1800s.
The earliest Partins settled in Virginia in the early 1600s.
Their descendants gradually migrated south and west. As a service
to all researchers interested in the Partin family, I will contiinue
to add information on Partins appearing anywhere in the U.S.
before 1800. Any additions or corrections are most welcome.
